YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy notice
This notice explains how Tess’s Trails handles information provided through this website. Last updated 4 October 2026.
Who to contact
TESS’S TRAILS LTD provides this website. For questions about your information or to make a data protection request, email service@tesstrailsfarmcare.info. Registered office: Unit 4 The Old Carpenters Workshop, Hyde Estate, Handcross, England, RH17 6HB.
Information in an enquiry
The consultation form records your name, email address, selected topic, message, privacy acknowledgement and the submission date and time. Include only the details needed to explain your care question. Do not send payment details, identity documents or sensitive personal information.
How enquiry information is used
Enquiry information is used to review your request, respond to your question, discuss possible services and maintain the related correspondence. The form’s privacy acknowledgement records your agreement to use the submitted details to respond to your request. You can contact us about that acknowledgement or ask us to stop further enquiry correspondence.
Storage and access
Submitted enquiries are stored in the website database. Access to enquiry records in the website administration area is restricted to authorised administrators; the records are not published as website content. A successful submission confirms that the request has been saved. It does not confirm an appointment or email delivery, and the form does not send an automatic email.
Security and website operation
The form checks submitted information and uses measures to reduce automated abuse. A short-lived, salted hash of the connecting IP address is used to limit repeated submissions; the form does not save the raw IP address in the enquiry record. Website operation may also involve technical access records maintained by the hosting infrastructure.
Keeping enquiry information
How long information is needed depends on the enquiry, any subsequent service arrangements and applicable record-keeping requirements. Contact us to ask about a particular record or to request deletion. A deletion request may be subject to legal obligations or other applicable grounds for retaining information.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable data protection law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your information, restriction of processing, or portability, and may object to certain processing. Contact the email address above so that your request can be considered. You may also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and other services
This website does not currently use advertising or analytics tracking, embedded maps or online payment processing. WordPress uses necessary cookies for sign-in and administration. The consultation form does not take payments. If website services change, this notice will need to reflect the information those services process.
